Next Children's Chapel: Sunday, May 18th

THANK YOU!

Last Sunday, Halley Smith, from the Falls Church/McLean Children's Center (FCMLCC) presented an overview of the center and reminded us that St. Dunstan's was one of the founding members of the center.

FCMLCC provides a comprehensive, high quality early childhood program designed to give all young children, regardless of their family’s economic resources, a strong foundation on which to build the rest of their lives. At the conclusion of the presentation, Halley was given the donated literary table supplies and the funds collected at the Pancake Supper.

During the presentation, parishioners filled colorful plastic eggs with the candies you donated for our annual Easter Egg Hunt.

A big thank you to everyone who donated candy and/or spent time filling the eggs. Your efforts made this a fun and informative time together!

The Good News of Church Politics

The Rev. Ross Kane, Ph.D.

Church politics doesn’t have to be frustrating. In fact, it can even become a spiritual practice. From community service to advocacy, congregations can practice a politics of loving interdependence that displays the kind of community God desires for human beings.

Drawing from his own congregational ministry in Alexandria, Virginia, Rev. Ross Kane, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Theology, Ethics, and Culture and Director of Doctoral Programs at Virginia Theological Seminary, will combine Scripture, political theology, and personal experience to reframe politics around shaping our common life and loving our neighbors.
