Palmetto Bay Celebrates National Small Business Week
National Small Business week is celebrated from May 2nd, 2021 to May 8th, 2021 across cities in the United States. Small Business Week is intended to recognize the service, innovation and development of small businesses nationwide.

Small businesses account for half of America's workforce and new jobs are created by small business owners more than any other source. Small businesses are vital to our economy, both nationally and locally.

Palmetto Bay will be celebrating small businesses in our Village by showcasing one for each day of the week. Today we recognize GreatFlorida Insurance!
GreatFlorida Insurance
GreatFlorida Insurance, a member of the Palmetto Bay Business Association, began in 1993 and relocated its office to Palmetto Bay in 2019. Owner Tamara Mouriño chose Palmetto Bay because she is a proud resident and loves serving the community’s business and residential customers with great insurance options. Core to her approach is her passion for going above and beyond to provide a personalized home, auto and commercial insurance solutions for each customer, including homeowners, flood, and renter’s insurance. Her and her great team are committed to continued growth while staying in front of the market trends and changes to provide the best value and options to their clients. For Mouriño, this is how businesses build trust with their customers and the community.

This Friday, May 7th, at 4 p.m., Mouriño will host a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of GreatFlorida Insurance’s new office (address provided below.)
Small businesses are a vital component of the success of our community. GreatFlorida Insurance is one of the many small businesses that call our Village home. Thank you for choosing Palmetto Bay!
