South Carolina Lions are on the Move
Greetings Fellow Lions, this is a great time to be a Lion.  We are doing a lot of things right.  First, we are focusing on the needs of the community with all of the service projects we have going on in our clubs.  Second, we are screening more citizens of South Carolina than we ever have thanks to the use of our Spot cameras, and providing more eye surgeries.

Charity Raffles Nearing the Final Vote

In the spring of 2013, the non-profit sector worked so hard to help get legislation passed to make charitable raffles legal.

We now ask your help with the next to last hurdle.  On November 4th the necessary constitutional amendment will go before the voters.

The attached flyer provided by the South Carolina Association of Non-profit Organizations is designed for you to share with your club, volunteers, friends and others to help them understand why YES is the way to vote.

Please save the flyer and forward to everyone who can help us succeed on November 4th.

Thanks for your help.

32B Lions

District 32-B Article

"Strengthen The Pride" is our international president's theme.  I can say that my pride has been strengthened by visits to the clubs in 32B.  I have really enjoyed the hospitality shown to me and to see the enthusiasm club members demonstrate talking about their projects and fundraisers.  As I have previously stated, it comes down to, "what can the district do for the clubs" and not "what the clubs can do for the district".

District 32-D Articles

I believe many of you have heard the above quote, as we have shared International President Joe Preston's theme song at each club we have visited so far.  It pertains to "Growing Our numbers and Strengthening the Pride"!  We will not be able to do either or both until Lions can overcome their FEAR of rejection, when asking someone to join our clubs.  Yet, unless we "Ask" and continue to "Ask", we will never know if those around us are interested or even know who we are and what we do in our communities. Read Complete Article
