Park Police Department Participate in the "Not On My Watch" Campaign

Palos Park Police are taking part in the "Not On My Watch" (NOMW) campaign in which officers pledge to police without any potential bigotry or intolerance. The NOMW pledge promises:
  • to serve faithfully and honestly, without prejudice, hate or bigotry.
  • to confront intolerance and report any such conduct without question or pause.
  • to maintain the integrity of the Palos Park Police Department and safeguard the trust of the people we serve.
The NOMW program is simple, we will treat members of the community as we would hope to be treated, with justice, compassion, and respect to the dignity of others.

Police Commissioner Dan Polk said, “We are about more than just policing; we work everyday to open and enhance channels of communication and improve the Palos Park Police Department’s practices. We believe such initiatives will help us build and maintain trust with our community.”
