President's Message Hello Panda Families! We have our first school wide event of the New Year this Friday night, the family movie night! Grab a blanket and some popcorn and join other Panda families on the football field to watch Spider-man. This is a family event. Concessions will be sold benefiting the PTO. Family Movie Night Pershing PTO Proudly Presents: Spider-Man 2 January 28th @ 6:30 on the Pershing Football Fields

Join us on January 28th on the Pershing Football Fields for Pershing’s 1st Annual Family Movie Night. This event in completely FREE! Popcorn will be provided and concessions with water, chips and candy will be available for purchase. So gather your family, a blanket to sit on and enjoy the evening!!! 8th Grade Event Dates Save the date, 8th Graders! 8th Grade Panoramic Picture - April 25th at 9:00 am 8th Grade Dance - May 20th 8th Grade Field Trip - June 3rd

Lamar High School Course Selection for Rising 9th Grade Zoned Students   Future Texans!   Lamar will offer two virtual course selection events for Rising 9th grade students who are zoned to Lamar. These virtual events will be held through Microsoft Teams, and you will select your courses using a Google Form which will open on January 31st. You do not need to attend an information meeting to complete course selection.    We will ask that you register for one of these events (Monday, January 31st 5:30pm – 6:30pm OR Tuesday, February 15th 5:30pm – 6:30pm) using this link: https://forms.gle/riPS991yb1cmJgUX7   You will receive additional information and a Microsoft Teams link a few days before your selected meeting. We will offer additional course selection events in March and April for students who are approved for a transfer to Lamar and for zoned students who cannot attend one of the dates above. If you have any questions please reach out to our Admissions Coordinator, Casey Titus.

PTO Celebrated our Teachers and Staff  We love our Panda staff and teachers!!! They are set and ready to lead our students into a successful second semester. Last week, the PTO showed our appreciations with a yummy breakfast for all teachers and staff!!!!
