“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with love.” Romans 5:3-5

I did not even know that the word existed four months ago, but I sure know it now. I do not want to downplay anything that is going on right now, but I have to say I have gotten very weary of hearing the word. In think all of us would agree that the word has changed the course of many lives forever. All of us have been affected to some degree or another.

I passionately believe that as a child of God that everything that happens to us changes us in some way or another. I also believe that as the scripture says in Romans chapter 8 that “all things work together for good to them that love God and have been called according to His purpose”.  So, what do we do as a result of the things that have happened in the past few months? I guess we could throw our hands up and say, “Oh woe is me!” We can get comfortable in the excuse that we cannot be with people or get out, so we do not really have to do anything right now. I guess best term for that would be we get lazy and complacent! However, if we go back to that verse of scripture at the beginning it plainly says that problems and trials help us develop endurance, strength of character and confidence in our salvation.

Endurance to keep on. There is still work to be done. God expects us to move. Confidence in our salvation and a desire that all come to know the Father as their savior. How shall they hear unless we tell them?

I am so excited to tell you that Women’s Ministries is on the move! Good things are happening. Stay tuned because in the next few weeks we will be unveiling some exciting changes and we want you all to celebrate with us. The possibilities for ministry opportunities and growth will be Boundless!

  • Over $70,000 was raised for Pastor relief fund. This means that every GB pastor on our mission fields received $100. An amount that will feed their family for three months.
  • Many of our GB churches have reopened or will be opening this weekend.
  • Thank you to those WM groups that have continued to send in their support during this difficult time

Prayer Request!

  • Pray for the Brantleys and Robin Lowery as their ministry beginning date has been postponed due to the Pandemic. All are available to come to your church to speak.
  • Money is needed for the purchase of vehicles for Faith Home. This project is the focus of the VBS offering this year. I can tell you from personal experience how beneficial these all terrain vehicles are for the ministry.

If you know of someone who is not receiving Boundless, please email me their email address and I will set them up to receive this free online newsletter.
