To commemorate the Seminar’s sixtieth year, a panel of government contracting experts will pivot to the next sixty years to imagine the future state of government contracting. This panel discussion will address trends affecting government contractors and other emerging topics with growing importance to federal procurement in the coming decades.

Michelle Coleman advises clients from diverse industries in connection with contract disputes and other government contract matters. Prior to her work at Crowell & Moring LLP, she served as an attorney in the Air Force's Acquisition Law and Litigation Directorate where she provided risk advice on major Air Force Procurements. Michelle also has extensive experience as an Air Force trial attorney litigating complex contract disputes before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA) and bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO).


Jens A. Norgaard joined Lockheed Martin in December of 2019, where he is responsible for overall leadership of the Contracts function for the $2B/year Commercial Civil Space (CCS) Line of Business (LOB) at Lockheed Martin Space. He has 22 years of contracts experience working for Government Contractors, including BAE Systems Inc., Ball Aerospace & Technologies, and Raytheon Company. He also served eight years as an Air Force officer and deployed three times following 9/11, including tours in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.


Jeniffer M. De Jesus Roberts joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 2019 as the Deputy General Counsel and leads the firm's litigation and investigations team. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced law as an associate and partner at major international law firms and also worked in senior in-house counsel roles at a biotechnology company and a global strategy, management, digital, technology & operations consulting company. She has several years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies with matters involving risk management, crisis management, ethics and compliance, litigation, internal and government investigations, government contracting, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and business transactions issues.
