Above (Click Video Image to Watch Panel Discussion) Edward Valandra, Waŋbli Wapȟáha Hokšíla, Sičáŋǧu Thitȟuŋwaŋ, born and raised on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. He received a BA in chemistry from Mankato State University, an MA in political science (public policy) from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and a PhD in American Studies (Native Studies concentration) from SUNY-Buffalo. Both Vine Deloria, Jr., Húŋkpapȟa Thitȟuŋwaŋ, and John Mohawk, Seneca, were his committee chairs, respectively.

Edward is Senior Editor at Living Justice Press, and his most recent editing efforts culminated in Colorizing Restorative Justice, one of the most critical reads of 2020.

Edward joined Belvie Rooks, Eric Butler and Skye and Orlando Bowen for this panel--a very deep dive into the heart of the question, "what is restorative justice's responsibility to unaddressed harm" and "whose justice" is it that we are working towards?
