October 11, 2023 - Issue 10

Good evening!

It was a busy day at EC as our freshmen and sophomores focused on team building, learning to work together, and discovering a friend to lean on when in need. The sophomores learned to build upon our mission to learn, worship, and serve, while the juniors completed their PSATs and or IOWAs. Our seniors explored career opportunities which allowed them to speak with professionals in their areas of expertise. Thank you to all of the organizers who planned today's activities. Ask your students how they enjoyed their day and what was their take-away!

We have several events coming up at EC along with numerous opportunities to give back to the community. We hope you all take advantage of the opportunity to be of assistance to our friends in need. With the state of our world, it may seem small, but every little deed has a ripple effect. Go ahead and start that ripple!

Spread kindness, Panthers!

Popsicle Fundraiser for Bre

As you may have heard, Mapleton High School senior Bre McKean recently passed away shortly after collapsing on the football field, having been announced as a member of their Homecoming Court. A scholarship has been set up in her honor. In order to contribute to this, we will be distributing popsicles during lunches on Thursday, October 12 & Friday, October 13 for the suggested donation of $1. Thank you in advance for your generosity and please pray for Bre and the healing of her loved ones.
