Panthers on the radio!

Mrs. Edmond's Creative Writing Class finished off their year being interviewed by Jay Allen from WOBL via cell phone on Tuesday afternoon. The students explained what different techniques they used to write in this class and how they came up with the idea for the children's books that they wrote. During the end of the interview the recent winners of the Empowered Poetry Contest shared their experience. What an awesome way to celebrate the end of the school year.  Thanks, WOBL for this opportunity.  Keep Prowling with Pride, Panthers.

Parental Mental Health Tip of

the Week:

Model different positive coping strategies that work for you. Some ideas include: exercising, talking with friends, making to-do lists or planning ahead, maintaining routines and structures, reflecting on what you are grateful for or proud of, and doing things you enjoy like music, art, dancing and keeping a journal. Adapted from Unicef "Four things you can do to support your teen’s mental health".
