Schedules are available today on HAC. We still have some balancing to complete, so the schedules could change slightly.

If there is an ERROR with your schedule, please use the "request to change course" link to submit request.

An error is...

·        a hole in the schedule

·        a course on the schedule previously taken

·        a missing course needed for graduation

·        a missing course that is the next course in the progression from a course already taken. (For example, student took Spanish 1 last year with no grade lower than a C, but Spanish 2 is missing on schedule.)

Requests to change a course level, change an elective, switch from a brick & mortar course to virtual, add modified, or to change a teacher will not be honored.

Families that have not completed the annual RSV (Returning Student Verification) or have expired leases will NOT be able to see their schedule.

For students to log into HAC

username is “s” in front of their student number – s140378

password is whatever they created.

Students will receive a printed copy of their schedule on the first day of school, Thursday, August 10th. If they do not have access to HAC, it is extremely important that they attend Panther Pick-up to resolve access issues.

Each year, schools perform a daily count of students to submit to the district office for the first 10 days. On Friday, August 11th, we will start calling home for children that we did not see Thursday or Friday. If your child will be absent August 10th and 11th, please email Mrs Kunze at Lisa.Kunze@stjohns.k12.fl.us to make us aware so we are not calling home. Thank you in advance for your help!

Students will attend ALL 7 classes on the first 2 days of school.

Bell schedule for Thursday & Friday, August 10th & 11th

********************* INFO FOR PANTHER PICK-UP ******************************

Digital ID APP

Again, this year students will use a Digital ID app on their phone. Plastic IDs will be available for everyone to use as a back-up. We have found the Digital ID is more accessible because a phone is rarely forgotten at home unlike the plastic ID.

Students need to download - Leonards Digital ID onto their phone. Open the app and complete required information. When setting up, please allow text messages. If this is not on phone and ready to scan at Panther Pick-up, we will assist.

Digital Citizenship - REQUIRED

Each year students are REQUIRED by the school district to review the SJCSD Student Code of Conduct and AUP for computer use. Following this review, students MUST submit a Code of Conduct Parent/Student Acknowledgement and digital citizenship quiz. We encourage students to read the Student Code of Conduct, the District AUP and sign/complete the acknowledgement and quiz PRIOR to August 7th, when we will generate a list of completers. During Panther Pick-up we will check the list to verify that each student has completed the acknowledgement and quiz. If a student is not on the list, the student will use a computer to complete this requirement. Complete both required items with the link below. Students MUST be logged into their Microsoft 365 account to complete. The username is “S” plus student number @stjohns.k12.fl.us (s435847@stjohns.k12.fl.us), “password” is your HAC password.

Password is your HAC password

Parking tags not picked up during Panther Pick-up will be placed in the main office. A student can stop by Wednesday between 8:30am and 4pm or wait until the first day of school. Students may NOT drive unless they have their parking tag.

Bus Information

If your child is riding the bus, it is IMPERATIVE they know their bus number for the afternoon. Have student place their bus number in their phone if you think they will forget. Dismissal the first couple of weeks is hectic with new students learning our system. Administrators working bus dismissal do not have access to lookup a bus number and they do not know the routes of all 20 buses. Students can look up their bus numbers and bus stop location in HAC.

Lockers

School lockers (not PE lockers) will be rented for $5. Lockers are available in the hallways in D-pod and upstairs in Panther Hall. Please look at the 7th period class and choose the closest location. Lockers are stacked 3 high with locks already on them. Please have an idea of where you would want your locker before getting in line.

D-pod Lockers

  • 100 to 171 by entry door to D-pod & D-2
  • 172 to 204 by D-007
  • 205 to 309 by D-11, D-13, D-21 & D-23
  • 310 to 435 by D-26, D027, D-7, & D-8
  • 436 to 507 by entry door to D-pod & D3

Panther Hall (PH) Lockers

  • 200 to 265 outside classroom PH 203
  • 329 to 469 outside classroom PH 204
  • 332 to 469 between classrooms PH 205 & 207
  • 472 to 611 between classrooms PH 206 & 208
  • 614 to 649 outside classrooms PH 209 & 210
  • 650 to 862 near Engineering classrooms PH 220 & 222

https://www.schoolpay.com/pay/for/20232024-Nease-Student-Locker/SEDZ5R

Cash or check only will be accepted on August 7th or 8th as we can’t take credit cards.

PE Uniforms

  • PE uniforms were pre-order only. If you did not place an order, the PE teacher will sell shorts and shirts when school starts during class.

PE Lockers

PE lockers will be issued during PE class; however, you can pay now and PE teachers will be given a list of students who have paid, so you don't have to send your child to school with money. The rental fee is $5.

Textbooks

Textbooks will NOT be checked out to students during Panther Pick-up as very few courses have enough textbooks for each student since students have access to textbooks online and teachers have class sets.

PTSO and IB Boosters

Both organizations will be set up in the cafeteria and families are encouraged to join.

Does your child have ESE or 504 accommodations and plan on taking ACT or SAT with accommodations? If yes, you MUST read below.

Students with a disability may be eligible for testing accommodations through College Board for the PSAT, SAT, and AP Exams. Your child’s IEP or 504 Plan does not guarantee approval of accommodations for these college entrance exams. The final decision is up to College Board.

To request accommodations for your student, the College Board’s “Consent Form for Accommodations Request” must be signed by both the student and parent and returned to school. IF your student is already approved for College Board accommodations, they do not need to reapply.

Once the consent form is received, we will start the application process. For additional information about accommodations on the PSAT, SAT and AP, visit the College Board website, www.collegeboard.com/ssd, or call them at 212-713-8333.

Please keep in mind that the application and approval process can take up to 7 weeks and is NOT guaranteed. If you are interested in applying for College Board accommodations, please fill out the Consent Form and return to Cynthia Messenger in PH 225 or email by Thursday, August 17, 2023 if your student will be taking the PSAT in October.  If you have questions, please e-mail me at Cynthia.Messenger@stjohns.k12.fl.us.
