Redeemed: Our school theme for this school year is a wonderful reminder about what Jesus has done for us. It keeps us focused not on ourselves, but what Jesus has done for us. He conquered sin, death, and the devil and His victory is our victory. These words from LSB 718 verse 4 are a great prayer as we continue to follow Jesus:
Jesus, lead Thou on Till our rest is won.
Heav'nly leader, still direct us,
Still support, console, protect us,
Till we safely stand In our fatherland.
Serving in Worship: The Seraphim Choir (grades 5-8) will be singing in church this Sunday, October 20. The Cherub Choir sings in church next Sunday, October 27. Students will warm up at 9:10am in the music room. Thank you!

St. Peter Chapel Offerings | |
The Liberian Children's Ministry: Thank you for encouraging your children to bring in their chapel offerings weekly. Several times in the last few weeks, we have seen children reminding their parents to give them their chapel offerings on Wednesdays. What a wonderful habit this is for children. We have just two weeks left for our current chapel project.

A-Volleyball Team Concludes Season: Our Lady Panthers finished their regular season with a 6-2 record in the TCLL North Division which enabled them to finish in first place. They also had an overall record of 8-2 (10-4 including the VLHS tournament). They were seeded in the TCLL Gold Tournament Bracket and faced St. Lorenz in the first game. The girls played a hard fought game against the Spartans but bowed out of the tournament with a 0-2 loss. These girls were really fun to watch this season and had some great victories. Thanks for a wonderful season girls!
Soccer Team Finishes Strong: The soccer team finished their regular season with a 6-0 record and champions of the TCLL North Division. Their overall record for the regular season was 9-1. On Saturday, they played in the season-ending TCLL Gold Tournament bracket which featured the four best teams in the TCLL. In their first game, they easily cruised past St. Michael's, Richville with a 5-0 victory with Charlie Hyatt scoring 5 goals and Brady Klemish scoring 2 goals. In the Championship game, they faced the only team that had defeated them this year, St. Lorenz, and our Panthers played a great game. They jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with Ethan Smith and Charlie Hyatt each scoring a goal in the first quarter of play. The Panthers defended the Spartans well the entire game, but they came up with two goals, one at the end of the first half and one at the end of the third quarter. The game remained tied in regulation and through the first over-time. In the last minute of the second overtime, there was a penalty called in the box which gave St. Lorenz a penalty kick that they made. It was a devastating loss for the team, but it was also a proud moment to watch their sportsmanship throughout the game and at the end of the game in their second place finish in the tournament. Thanks for another great season soccer team!
Parent Sports Meeting: There will be a Parent Sports Meeting on Monday, October 21 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria for all parents who have a child playing A or B-Team Basketball (5th-8th graders). Your attendance is encouraged.
