All afternoon activities scheduled for Today January 29th, 2019 are postponed.

Boys Basketball at PV is rescheduled for tomorrow January 30th, 2019. Girls Basketball vs. PV is rescheduled to Monday February 4th.
Swim vs. PV is postponed TBA.

SWIMMING the boys and girls swim team faced off against Norristown on Tuesday. The girls team defeated Norristown 97-62. The boys were not able to fight off the Eagles and lost 75-67. On Thursday both teams traveled to Phoenixville. The boys and girls dropped their match ups 99-61.

BOYS BASKETBALL had their Senior Night Game on Tuesday against Pottstown. The Panthers were able to hold back the Trojans to win in overtime 75-70. Drew McKeon '20 had a game high 20 points. Sean Bustynowicz '20 had 16 points, AJ Williams '19 added 11 points 2 of those points tied the game and sent it into overtime, while Justin Green '21 added 10 points. On Wednesday the boys traveled to LC to take on the Crusaders. The Panthers could not overtake the Crusaders and lost 52-46. The boys then traveled to Norristown on Friday. The Eagles were too tough for the Panthers in the divisional cross over game. The Panthers lost 66-42.

GIRLS BASKETBALL faced off against Pottstown on Tuesday. The Panthers seemed to make easy work of the Trojans winning 69-40. Elise Sylvester '19 racked up 21 points as well as 11 rebounds, while Kallan Bustynowicz '21 added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Amelia Kennedy '22 added 9 points of her own and Mary Kate Shannon '20 added 6 in the win. On Friday the Panthers hosted Norristown . The Panthers won the game 50-21. Kallan Busytnowicz '21 scored 20 points and Elise Sylvester '19 added 11 points. On Saturday the girls were home again this time against West Chester Henderson. It was a hard fought game with the Panthers down by double digits in the beginning of the fourth and fighting back to lose 44-41. Again Kallan Bustynowicz '21 led the scoring for PJP with 15 points and Elise Sylvester '19 added 12 points. Amelia Kennedy '22 added 7 and Lauren Ciuba '19 added 6 in the loss.

WRESTLING traveled to Pottstown on Wednesday. The Panthers dropped the match 54-30. Jack Files '19 , Jacob Rau '21 , Matt Delciotto '20 , and Ryan Vulakh '19 all posted pins. Nick Togno '22 also won by forfeit.

CHEER competed in the St. Hubert's Cheer competition this weekend as they gear up to head to National's. The team came away with the win in their traditional division and 3rd place for their game day routine!
Senior captain Rebecca Schureman has proven to be a solid performer throughout the season thus far. She helped the team to their second win vs Norristown this week, swimming the 100 back and 500 m free, which she finished with a new PR. This season, she also helped to better the school record as part of the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 2:31.68.
Wrestling vs. Upper Merion

Wrestling takes on Upper Merion at their final home match of the season at 6:30 PM on Wednesday! It is also Senior Night. Make sure you come out to cheer on and celebrate our two wrestling Seniors: Ryan Vulakh and Jack Files.
