S – Schedule your time wisely: Success requires discipline and consistency. Set aside dedicated time for homework, studying, and reflection.
M – Meet your LSC-Houston North family: Get to know your faculty, staff, mentors, and administrators. Building connections will enrich your experience and open doors to support and guidance.
A – Ask for help: If challenges arise, inside or outside the classroom, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your professors, advisors, and support teams are eager to help. Visit our Student Resources page or complete the Student Assistance Form if you have specific needs.
R – Read campus communications: Weekly newsletters and announcements will keep you informed about important updates, events, and opportunities.

Join us as we celebrate freedom, culture, community, and legacy at the 2026 Juneteenth Community Celebration in Acres Homes!
This year, we are proud to continue this cherished tradition in partnership with the Greater Houston Youth Alliance and the family of the late Mayor and Congressman Sylvester Turner, bringing the community together for a day of music, family fun, food, and entertainment.

Traditional 16-week courses require a full semester to complete just one class. With 8-week courses, you can complete two courses in the same time frame.

Focused, fast-moving sessions to earn credit hours and get ahead. New or returning, this is your first opportunity to move your degree forward this summer.
Summer II begins July 16
Take both summer sessions, and you'll enter fall with a serious head start on your degree and graduation timeline.
Fall classes begin August 24
Two 8-week sessions mean you can take 2 classes in session 1, add 1–2 more in session 2, and hit 9–12 credit hours — without it ever feeling like too much.

Mental Health Services Now Available to Students | |

We are pleased to announce that Mental Health Services are now available to support Lone Star College students.
Accessing Services:
Students have two primary ways to connect with a clinician:
• Phone: Call 281-290-5988 to request services.
• Email: LSC-MentalHealthServices@lonestar.edu
For phone and email inquiries, a clinician will contact the student directly to coordinate care.

- On the top left menu click Mark As Read
