Important Information from the PJPAC

The fall sports season is here and we need your help! Again this year, the PJPAC will be running the snack stand for all athletic events. The proceeds from last year totaled over $20,000. This money was used to purchase athletic equipment, a PJP pop-up tent, volleyball nets, tennis benches and many other needed supplies. We also helped support the priorities of the PJPAC by helping buy senior gifts and support team building activities.

This year we have put together a Sign-up that includes all athletic events for the fall season and the snack stand shifts that need to be filled. Please use the link below to sign up for your shift. It can be for your child's game or any other game. Each fall sports family is being asked to take at least one shift. This money directly benefits all our student athletes.

Your student can also volunteer and earn service hours as long as an adult is also signed up to work the same shift.

We appreciate your support as we try to raise more money this year to support all our PJP athletic teams! Go Panthers!
The PJPAC will be hosting their 3rd Annual Beef and Beer on September 8, 2018 from 6 PM- 10 PM. This Night at the Races event will feature 50/50's, basket raffles, and horse races. Of course there will also be food and beer! This event is for parent and friends to meet and socialize with each other. All proceeds from this event will benefit PJP student athletes.
Don't forget to register for the Simon's Heart Protect This Heart FREE Heart Screening being held at PJP on September 30th. The event is for families with children aged 12-19. Not only will each child registered get a FREE ECG(electrocardiograph) but they will also learn the basics of CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use. Some cardiac conditions that can be found by an ECG are Long QT Syndrome, Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome, abnormal rhythms, enlargement of the heart, and congenital heart defects. While there are not always symptoms of SCA parents should be looking for the following symptoms that usually show up in kids; complaints of chest pain, fainting or dizziness during or after exercise, rapid heart rate, and unexplained shortness of breath.
