Veterans Bridge Home helps Veterans and their families successfully transition after military service through identifying their education, social, employment and healthcare needs by connecting them to available community, state and federal resources.

Uptown Lunch

We have another exciting guest for March's Uptown Lunch, brought to you by WGU of NC . We invite you to the Wednesday March 11th lunch to hear from the Voice of the Carolina Panthers, Mick Mixon. Mick, who previously was the voice for UNC Chapel Hill, will be here to provide details about the new head coach and more going on with the Panthers.

Please join us and bring a guest to the next uptown lunch. If this will be the first time visiting for anyone, lunch is free, thanks to our mentorship program partner, Military Officers Association of American (MOAA).

Join the American Red Cross for our 2nd Women Who Serve Forum on Saturday, April 25 ^th at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus in Charlotte, NC. This event, put on by women for military and veteran women, features two outstanding, nationally known speakers, Sarah Plumber “SEMPER Sarah” and Cherissa Jackson “America’s Combat Nurse.”

Better Money Habits - Financial Awareness Class

Directly after the Uptown Lunch this Wednesday will be another installment of Better Money Habits financial class with fellow Veteran Rich Sanders from Bank of America. Setting budgets and building savings can help you meet financial goals. Get strategies and tips to better manage your money.

Creek Week Volunteer Project

VBH is partnering with Mecklenburg County Parks & Recreation on March 25th for our annual spring beautification project during "Creek Week". Volunteers will be asked to help clean up and beautify not only Thompson Park, but a portion of the adjacent Little Sugar Creek Greenway.

The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. along with a mobile education center will be coming to the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Help honor the more than 58,000 service members while The Wall That Heals is in town.
