60+ Group: Lunch with Pastor Matt
Please join us on Thursday, November 12th, at 11:30 in Miller Hall.
Pastor Matt Albright has officially joined our Redeemer family! We are so pleased that we will be working together on the important work of spreading the Word of Jesus. Pastor Matt and wife Haley are new to Peoria, and we have this time to learn a bit more about them. Come to hear about what he sees as the focus of our mission and the importance of how we can be all that God wants of us.
Hosts for this gathering are Rhonda and Ken Kruse. As we continue to celebrate 250th Anniversary of our country, and as Veterans’ Day is November 11, our hosts are bringing out the red, white, and blue. Lunch this month will include Avanti’s gondolas. If your last name starts with A-K please bring a salad, and if L-Z a dessert to share. We ask for $5.00 per person to help cover the cost of food and drinks. Reservations for this event need to be confirmed no later than Monday, November 9th!
Sign up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board in the office hallway. If you have any questions, please contact Ken Stoppenhagen or Becky Auer.
All are welcome so bring a friend!!

Church Directory Requests
Several members have recently received suspicious emails asking them to send a PDF copy of Redeemer's church directory. These emails are scams!
These emails may appear to be from another member or a member of Redeemer staff. Please do not respond to these emails or share a copy of the church directory. If you're unsure whether an email is legitimate, contact the church office to verify before responding.
Thank you for helping us protect the privacy of our church family!

Hear Better During Worship with Redeemer’s Hearing Assistance Systems!
Redeemer now offers two hearing assistance options to help everyone hear and participate more fully in worship. In addition to our traditional listening devices, we now have a new Wi-Fi system that allows you to listen through your smartphone!
Option 1: Traditional Listening Devices
Listening devices are available at the sound booth in the Sanctuary. Simply turn on the device, adjust the volume, and place the earpiece in one ear. These devices are easy to use and are available for use in the Sanctuary only.
Option 2: NEW! Listen Through Your Smartphone
Our new Wi-Fi hearing assistance system allows you to hear services through your own hearing aids or earbuds. Best of all, it works throughout the Redeemer building and Pavilion!
What You'll Need:
- An iPhone (iOS 15 or newer) or Android phone (Android 11 or newer)
- The free WaveCAST Audio Receiver app, available in your phone's app store
- Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids or earbuds
- A connection to Redeemer's Guest Wi-Fi network (Password: Redeemer6801)
Getting Connected:
- Download and install the WaveCAST Audio Receiver app.
- Connect your phone to Redeemer's Guest Wi-Fi network.
- Connect your hearing aids or earbuds to your phone via Bluetooth.
- Open the WaveCAST app. It will automatically search for the audio connection labeled FM_Plus_C (available at Redeemer during services).
- Select the connection and adjust the volume using the app or your phone's volume buttons.
Helpful Tip: To minimize audio delay, open the WaveCAST app, tap the three lines in the upper-left corner, select Settings, and turn on Bluetooth Low Latency. Closing unused apps on your phone may also help. Please note that a slight audio delay is normal with Bluetooth devices.
Whether you prefer a traditional listening device or the convenience of your smartphone, we hope these options make it easier for everyone to hear and enjoy worship at Redeemer!

RightNow Media Series
RightNow Media is a wonderful resource available to our members offering a wide range of topics. Every month we plan to suggest a video series and provide a guide for individual learning and reflection.
Our November recommendation is: Series 4 of Essentials of Faith- What Is the Church?
Everyone seems to have something to say about the church. But what is the church, exactly? Is it a nice building with a steeple? An experience on a Sunday morning? A group of people aligned around certain issues?
In this series, author and pastor Derwin Gray examines Acts and Paul’s letters to explain what the church is, how it began, what it does, and its mission. This series will inspire you to learn from the rich history of the church and will motivate you to act as an empowered member of the family of God.
If you do not yet have a RightNowMedia account, see Jeff Shoumaker to be linked with Redeemer’s subscription.
