PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE  

Greetings

We are deep into the long days of summer.

The eaglets have all fledged and we exhale our collective, maternal breaths.

There is much crashing about in trees.

Loud squawking and breaking of branches.

A few falls from those breaking branches into the lake.

And then very large, very cranky birds, with wet wings outstretched.

Reconsidering.

It is so easy to get lost in a sky full of eagles.

To wonder. To reconsider.

Then at last my paintings come.

I work until the darkness overtakes me.

Painting wings.

I invite you to revisit the deep places within your soul.

Remember the sacred work you still want to make.

Ask again, into whatever meaning you make.

MEMBERS' SPOTLIGHT

PW's Instagram and FaceBook sites spotlight Members' artwork and themed challenges like "What's Your Favorite Tool". It's easy to participate. Just submit photos of your work to Mara Krumins. Desi De La Mater posts them on PW Home page too. It's a great way to keep current PaperWorks news as well.
