St Pete Pride 2022 Event Information
for Parade Registrants
Thank you for registering as a 2022 St Pete Pride Parade Participant! This year marks not only our 20th Anniversary but also the culmination of several years without a full Pride celebration. We are thrilled to have the return of the parade and are excited for you to join us in a joy, sun, and PRIDE filled celebration honoring the incredible members of the Tampa Bay LGBTQ+ community. The goal of all the St Pete Pride events this season is to provide safe and memorable events for people to come together and proudly be who they are. We appreciate your support and commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all attendees.
In Pride,
Nicole Berman
Executive Director, St Pete Pride
We appreciate your patience as we finalize line up times and group locations for the parade. These will go out this week. This email will outline the Parade line-up process, route, and general information.

Parade Representatives: St Pete Pride requests that each group designate one person as their “parade representative”. The parade representative will help with coordination of vehicle/group setup and controlling the flow of their float/group during the parade. Parade representatives will report to parade group check-in for entry verification. Parade representatives and at least one other person associated with the parade entry must attend one of two mandatory Pride Information Sessions. Both sessions offer the same content. Failure to attend may result in the loss of the parade entry with no refunds being given.

Parade Day Festival and Event Information
Get ready for St Pete Pride’s 20th Year! To honor our history, celebrate our community, and create an accessible, safe place for members of the LGBTQ+ community, St Pete Pride will be hosting the largest Pride festival to date. The return of our headline event, the June 25th Parade and Festival, will take place in the downtown waterfront parks. This is a free event and open to the public. The Parade route will run from Vinoy Park to Albert Whitted Park along Bayshore Drive.
Our Parade Festival will begin at 2pm on both sides of the parade route! Join us in North Straub park for a variety of local vendors, food trucks, DJ, and the main beer garden! South Straub park will be a 21+ space with a DJ, food and bars, and vendors. This is the space for you during the day to enjoy a drink, some space, and watch the parade travel by. At night South Straub will be transformed into a women and non-binary pop-up night club from 7-10pm. Entertainment lineup to be announced.

Across the way in Spa Beach will be another opportunity to enjoy Parade Day. Vendors, food trucks, and beverage stations will line Spa Beach Park leading up to the main entertainment stage. Entertainment will run from 2:00-4:00pm. At 4pm the Parade will step off, don’t want to be in the crowd but want to watch the Parade? Join us in Spa Beach Park for a livestream of the Parade to the main stage screen. Watch on your blanket for a more laid back experience. Main stage entertainment will resume at the end of the parade until 10pm.
Important information for this year's Parade. Once you decide on a spot for the Parade there will be limited options to move across Bayshore Drive. Short breaks will be programmed into the parade route approximately every 45 minutes after step-off to allow traffic on and off the Pier. If you are planning to enjoy the Parade from the Pier side please plan accordingly. Similarly if you decide to enjoy the Parade from the Straub Park sides you will only be able to access the Pier during the breaks or after the Parade ends. If you’d like to watch the main stage entertainment, please plan accordingly!
