|
Intuition is soul guidance, appearing naturally in man during those instants when his mind is calm....The goal of yoga science is to calm the mind, that without distortion it may hear the infallible counsel of the Inner Voice.
In wanting us to depend on Him alone, God does not mean that you should not think for yourself; He wants you to use your initiative. The idea is, if you fail to seek conscious attunement with God first, you cut off the Source, and so you cannot receive His help. When you look to Him first for all things, He will guide you; He will reveal to you what your mistakes are so that you can change yourself and change the course of your life.

 A Tribute of Love to Sri Daya Mata
We are pleased to announce this special edition honoring the life and work of Sri Daya Mata. The issue includes a portrait of her remarkable life, a full-color pictorial retrospective of her 55 years as spiritual leader of SRF/YSS, as well as a selection of tributes from members and friends. You will also find media coverage from around the world on Sri Daya Mata's passing, a report on her memorial service, and a beautiful eulogy from our current president, Sri Mrinalini Mata.

This issue's CD recording features tributes to Sri Daya Mata by SriMrinalini Mata and Brother Anandamoy given some years ago at a celebration honoring Daya Mataji's fifty years as a monastic, as well as an inspiring talk from that occasion by Daya Mataji herself, in which she shares personal glimpses of her life of devotion and service in Paramahansa Yogananda's ashrams.

Autobiography of a Yogi - Now Available in Russian
|
 We are happy to announce that Autobiography of a Yogi is now available in Russian from Self-Realization Fellowship. This new book contains all the material and photographs from SRF's latest English-language version.
As with every edition of Autobiography of a Yogi published by SRF around the world, this new Russian translation is the complete edition, incorporating all of the author's wishes for the final English text, personally conveyed by him to the editor he worked with for more than 20 years.

How-to-Live Retreat Programs
On many weekends this spring, SRF monks and nuns will be conducting How-to-Live Retreat programs. Join us at one of the beautiful Self-Realization Fellowship Retreats or ashram centers at Encinitas, Lake Shrine, or Hidden Valley to spend some time deepening your relationship with God and recharging body, mind, and spirit. See schedule.
For those in the eastern United States, retreat programs will be held April 22-24 and May 22 (for women) at the SRF Greenfield Retreat in Front Royal, Virginia, and April 22-24 in New York. A regional retreat will be held May 6-8 in Arma��o, Brazil.
