2022 WSCGA Team Championship
What a beautiful day at Forest Lake Club in Columbia; sunny, slight breeze, and a lot of great shots hit by our Championship field. There is a tight race going on in all five flights of the field. Leading the first round of the Championship Division, with only one of two rounds posted under par, carding a 70 is the team of Jayne Pardus and Kerry Rutan. Just 2 shots back is the team of Lea Venable and Skye Two Hawks Skenandore (72).

In Flight 1 of the State Division, Lee Burton and Dawn Swit have set the pace firing a four under 68 to have a four shot lead over Jeannie Atkinson and Deckie Jones (72). Sitting in third is team Karin Wolfe and Charlotte Twitty (73).

Leaders in the clubhouse for Flight 2 (State Division) posting a double hockey stick, 77, are Cynthia Andereck and Cass Lambert. Just two shots back posting an 79 is the team of Janet Roberts and Pam Ruthven.

Flight 3, team Hall Bickman and Tricia Reid are leading with carding a 78 to hold a 5 shot lead over team Lynn McElveen and Cheryl Windham (83).

In the final flight of the State Division, Flight 4, Lola Bradshaw and Cathy Robinson are leading with an 84. Just two shots back is the team of Kathy McCurdy and Linda Morris with an 86.

In round 2 anything can happen with the modified alternate shot format. Both players tee off, then switch (hit each others ball) and then alternate shot one ball from there until holed. The weather is going to play havoc as well with consistent 10-15 mph wind and a high chance of rain. So keep your eyes on the live scoring and let's see who pulls out the Championship.
