SCPS Celebrates Employees with over 25 Years of Service!
SEF Harvest 5 km & Little Pumpkin Mile - November 10
The SEF Harvest 5K & Little Pumpkin Mile took place on November 10, 2018.
Community members of all ages participated in this event.

The funds raised benefit Innovative Teaching Grants and Student Scholarships. Thank you to all who participated.
SCPS Business & Community Partners recognized at the SCPS School Board Meeting

Business and community partners received certificates of appreciation for their monetary donations and volunteer efforts for the SCPS Operation Warm campaign. Students received over 1,200 new coats for winter.

Thank you Outback Steakhouse for providing breakfast for the volunteers. Outback Steakhouse now delivers.

SCPS will accept donations all year to ensure students in need are warm during the winter months.

The Stafford School Board recognized Colonial Forge High School student Alex Goshorn on November 13 for enhancing the learning environment in SCPS through his Eagle Scout project.

Alex successfully installed a footbridge on a nature trail at Hartwood Elementary School.

Head Start

Starting in January 2019, Stafford County Head Start/Virginia Preschool Initiative Program will accept applications for the 2019-2020 school year. Head Start is a free, full-day preschool program , and is open to children who are 3 or 4 years of age by September 30, 2019, live in Stafford County, and meet the federal income-eligibility guidelines.  If you or someone you know would like to know more about Head Start, please call (540) 368-2559 for more information.
