Hello 11th grade families!

Just a friendly reminder that there will be a meeting for all juniors on Friday, March 20 at 10:45 am in the auditorium to create a MyACT account and complete the informational forms prior to testing. They will need to bring a device (phone, laptop, iPad, etc. will all work) and a pencil with them.

The ACT is being administered to Southland 11th graders on Tuesday, March 24 starting at 8:15 am at the Little Cedar Church Hall. Students should enter through the south hall doors (straight across the road from the school gym north doors by the locker rooms). All students need to be in the room by 8:15 in order to test. Late entrance is not permitted, per ACT rules.

Students will need to bring an approved calculator with them to use on the math portion of the test- information about calculators can be found here. The school has a few calculators that students can use for the test, but we do not have enough for everyone. All other materials that they will need will be provided. Please encourage your student to get a good night of sleep before the test and to eat a healthy and filling breakfast before coming.

Test prep information and practice questions can be found here.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
