Community Events

Rooted All Saints Day Celebration

Parents with preschool-aged children! Join us for an All Saints' Day Mass & Party co-hosted by Rooted and the Ave Maria Homeschool Coop on Saturday, November 1st from 8-11am at Notre Dame Parish + Goldsmith Religious Ed Center. Dress up as your favorite saint and enjoy prayer, food, games, saint parade, and the chance to mingle with other families.

Catholicism on Tap with Father Sedlacek

Why do some Churches lose members while others see great growth? What are the keys to build a thriving parish and school, and what is your role? Fr. Sedlacek will discuss this and more at "From Maintenance to Mission: Apostolic Strategies for a Post-Christian Culture."

Rooted Parenting Panel

Parents with little children! If you love the idea of a family Rosary but can barely make it through a Hail Mary, you're not alone! Join Rooted for a "Parenting Panel" on the topic "How do I teach the Catholic faith to little children?" featuring special guests Andy & Rita Shakal (John Shakal's parents) AND Richard & Theresa Sedlacek (Fr. Sedlacek's parents). Free coffee, free drop-in childcare, and a heart-to-heart interview with two seasoned couples who've raised children to adulthood. Aimed at parents of children ages 0-6 but open to all! Feel free to invite another parent you know.

Our Mission: Centered on Jesus Christ and His Church, we partner with families to nurture young people’s spiritual, intellectual, physical, and moral formation through a PreK-12 Catholic liberal arts education and vibrant student life of discipleship, athletics, and the arts.
