This high-energy event is a celebration of everything that makes McDonell athletics special—and it directly supports our student athletes by funding uniforms, equipment, transportation, and other essential program needs.

Faith Formation Opportunity for Middle & High School Students

As we prepare for the new school year, Campus Ministry is excited to share an additional faith formation opportunity for your middle and high school students through our local Catholic parishes. St. Charles Parish will again host Wednesday night youth groups—EDGE for middle schoolers and LifeTeen for high schoolers—focused on small-group discussions, mentorship, and fellowship.

MACS families can register for free using the special link provided in the letter below from Michael Van Hemert, Director of Youth Ministries. Please disregard other parish registration links, as they do not waive the fee.

NEW! This year we are introducing Living Rosary, a new small group program for middle school students. Groups of 4–6 students will be led by a trained volunteer mentor who will walk with them in faith. Together they’ll talk about the faith, ask hard questions, pray, and grow in friendship. These groups are optional and meet outside of class times.

If your middle school student is interested—or if you are a community member who would like to be a mentor—please contact Ms. Lily Rozeski at l.rozeski@macs.k12.wi.us.

🙌 Middle School Retreat Chaperones Needed

• 6th Grade Retreat – Faith retreat on September 23 at Holy Family Parish in Stanley, WI. Permission slips must be returned to Ms. Rozeski by September 22. If you are interested in being a chaperone, please contact Ms. Rozeski at l.rozeski@macs.k12.wi.us
• 8th Grade Retreat – Faith retreat on September 18 with NET Missionaries at Goldsmith Religious Education Center. Permission slips must be returned to Ms. Rozeski by September 17.

NEW! We are also excited to launch Serva Fidem, a new small group program for high school students. Like Living Rosary, these groups of 4–6 will meet with a trained mentor outside of school hours to talk about faith, ask meaningful questions, pray, and build friendships.

🌱 The MACS Mustard Seed Closet Now Open

The MACS Mustard Seed Closet is a Facebook group where MACS families, staff, and faculty can freely exchange gently used school clothing, supplies, sports equipment, and other school-related items.

COR - Exploring the Heart of Faith with Father Tim

Join us for the next COR – Exploring the Heart of Faith, presented by Fr. Tim Oudenhoven and the Knights of Columbus. This month’s discussion, Supporting Catholics Who Have Strayed Away, will explore how we can help and relate to family members who no longer practice the faith or feel hostile toward it.

Bishop Battersby will present at the next Catholicism on Tap on October 6, speaking about YOU: "Holy Vocations: How God is Calling You to Change the World.

Father Felix's Golf Outing
