Youth and JYF will not meet this week.

Please join us for the luncheon in Fellowship Hall following the worship service.

Following the Children's Moment during the 10:30 am worship service, children ages 3—Grade 5 will be escorted to F-102 for their own worship experience, Worship Rocks.

After the worship service is over, your children will be waiting for you in the hallway outside of the Sanctuary.

HEY PARENTS!

If your child enjoys drawing, we would love to include one of their original drawings in this year's Advent Devotional Guide. The theme for this year's guide is "The Gift of Being Present". If your child is inspired by the theme, please encourage them to create a drawing. You may deliver their finished masterpiece to the church office or drop it off at the Welcome Desk while you're at church. You may also use your phone to take a digital photo of the drawing, then email it to jacque.forsher@northwaychristian.org.

Please share drawings by November 22.

Community Garden Workday

Saturday, November 18 at 9:00 am

All volunteers are welcome! We will be working at the Seeds of Faith Community Garden between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm on Saturday, November 18. Join us whenever you can! We'll be preparing garden beds for the winter, planting trees, and working on several other projects.

The garden is located at Greater Garth Chapel AMEC at 2828 Carpenter Ave., Dallas, TX 75215.

Beyond Sunday

As your kid starts their day, thank them for something they do on a regular basis. Maybe it’s a chore that is expected of them or something you ask of them on a regular basis.

Answer this question: “Who is someone you need to thank for something they have done to help you—whether they realize it or not?”

“God, help us to live a life of gratitude, always conscious of the ways those around have helped us and letting them know how much we appreciate it.”

Fellowship Potluck Luncheon

Sunday, November 19

at 11:45 am in F-101

In celebration of our stewardship season, we will gather in Fellowship Hall for an all-church Potluck Lunch which will take place following the worship service on Sunday, November 19. The church will provide the meat for the meal. Please plan to bring a side dish, salad, veggie, or dessert to share.
