Happy Independence Day!
As summer is in full swing, UTSA's Parent Engagement Program is actively seeking opportunities to serve you and your families.
On June 29th, The College of Education and Human Development held a health fair. This event provided free face painting, snacks, p
aletas, health resources and activities for kids. Adding to the fun,
the Girl CodeRunners summer camp just completed its third session.
This camp provides middle school age girls with opportunities to learn how to design webpages, construct robots using Lego Mindstorm and create computer games using Scratch.
As the summer continues, there will be additional opportunities to come visit our campus and interact with UTSA students, staff members and other families.
In this newsletter, you can find information about FREE museum days, S.T.E.A.M events, library activities, educational webinars and educational websites for your little ones.

¡Feliz Día de la Independencia!
El verano está en pleno desarrollo y UTSA’S Parent Engagement Program esta activamente buscando oportunidades para mejor servirle a usted y toda su familia. El 29 de Junio, The College of Education and Human Devlopment organizo una feria de salud. Este evento gratuito para toda la familia tuvo pintura para la cara, refrigerios, paletas, recursos de salud y varias actividades para los niños. A medida que el verano continúa habrán más oportunidades para visitar nuestra universidad e interactuar con los estudiantes, empleados y otras familias
.
Otro campamento de verano en desarrollo es el programa de Girl CodeRunners, que se implementa por Acedemy for Teacher Excellence. Están teniendo un tiempo estupendo aprendiendo a diseñar paginas de web, armando robots usando Lego Mindstorm y creando juegos de computadora usando Scratch.

Welcome to The University of Texas at San Antonio, San Antonio's summer camp destination.
This year, UTSA will offer science, engineering, architecture, sports, music, writing and language and culture camps for kids, teens and adults. Some camps are day-long programs; others last a week or two. Each of our camps offers participants the chance to have fun, make friends and learn something new.
