Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to share information about Parent/Guardian-Teacher Conferences and other important events in November.
Parent/Guardian-Teacher Conferences via Zoom
We will host Parent/Guardian-Teacher Conferences via Zoom on Nov. 13 and 14. As in years past, you will use the Pick-A-Time online portal to sign up for individual conferences.
These conferences are for graded classes — not advising and not pass/fail classes.
To sign up for conferences, schedule times with your student’s academic teachers who are listed. You will schedule five or six conferences (six minutes each), depending upon your student’s course load. If you choose not to meet with a particular teacher, simply do not schedule a conference with that teacher. If you are unable to schedule a conference with a teacher, feel free to reach out to them to schedule a separate meeting or phone call.
Thayer will provide interpretation services for those who would like to make use of them during the conferences. If your family would like translation services, please email Ms. Goodridge at egoodridge@thayer.org by Friday, Nov. 7, to ensure advance setup.
The conference sign-ups are open through Tuesday, Nov. 11.
To sign up, log in to MySchoolApp, go to Resources, and click the “Pick-a-Time” logo.
When you sign up for a session, you and the teacher will be provided a unique Zoom link for that meeting. You will receive an email from Pick-A-Time soon after you sign up for your conferences. Be sure to check your email and spam to get these zoom links.

Boston Children’s Hospital Blood Drive
One of our senior students, Cailyn Hsu, has arranged for the Boston Children’s Hospital Bloodmobile to be on campus on Friday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please consider stopping by campus to donate. We hope that parents and guardians, as well as students and faculty, will find time to donate. The entire process — from check-in to recovery — takes about 45 minutes, and there are approximately 40 appointment spots available. Scheduling will be done through this online portal.
