Resources for your Family!
FREE ELC Drive-through event planned for April 10th
COMING UP THIS SATURDAY In Fort Pierce:
KidFun-to-Go 2021
Saturday, April 10, 2021
from 9-11:30 AM
Our PSL Drive-through event was a great success with over 170 cars driving through and over 500 families served. If you missed it, our ELC has one more drive-through event coming up designed to help your family access fun & exciting educational materials, services and create small libraries of their own, on Saturday, April 10,from 9-11:30 AM at Percy Peek Gym Parking Lot, 2902 Avenue D, in Fort Pierce, next to the Zora Neale Hurston Library.
Working closely with our community partners, including St. Lucie Schools, Children's Services Council, City of Fort Pierce and City of Fort Pierce, our drive-through event features 12-15 stations that families can drive through, stay in their car safely, and get wonderful stuff for their kids.
This event offers the same books and activities, so if you already attended in PSL, tell your friends about it- no reservations needed! Curious George will also be there, along with Andy the Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse, Urbie from Urban Adventure and Scruffy and McGruff the crime-fighting dogs, from the SLC Sheriff's Dept. In addition, we will have a police SWAT team and drone, to entertain the kids while they are patiently waiting in your car.
