Dear Cougar Family-

As part of our Marianist mission, we strive for all families to feel that an exceptional high school experience is both a valuable investment and an accessible option. Each year, the Board of Directors sets a tuition rate that is affordable to families and which at the same time covers our operating costs and helps retain our exceptional faculty amidst rising inflation. Tuition will be increased to $13,675 for the 2026-2027 academic year.

We are proud that Gross Catholic maintains one of the lowest tuition rates among 9-12 private and Catholic high schools in the region. Thanks to generous donors, disciplined financial management, and timely tuition payments, we are also proud to offer several opportunities to reduce tuition costs for families who demonstrate genuine financial need. Recognizing that many families have this need, we do ask that you acknowledge your responsibility to make Catholic education tuition a priority and to be

willing to make reasonable financial sacrifices to provide your children the benefit of an education rooted deeply in Catholic faith and practice.

Because every family's situation is unique, we recommend all families apply for tuition assistance. I wholeheartedly thank you for your support and partnership in this transformational mission.

Financial Aid Application Process

All tuition assistance is given on the basis of demonstrated need. In order to provide impartiality and fairness to all families, need is assessed by FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, a third-party provider. Only families who complete the FACTS evaluation process are eligible for tuition assistance.

Applications are reviewed by a Tuition Assistance Committee that determines the amount of aid available based on income, household size, and other factors. All information it reviews, financial or otherwise, is held in strict confidentiality. Once the application process is completed, FACTS will forward your needs assessment to Gross Catholic. Our Tuition Assistance Committee will use this information to determine your level of financial assistance. Application evaluations start in February and we plan to send individual tuition agreements to families throughout March and April.

To be eligible for any financial assistance, families are required to apply through the FACTS Grant and Aid portal by February 1st. There is no guarantee of aid, so we encourage families to apply early. https://online.factsmgt.com/aid You will need your 2024 or 2025 Tax Return and copies of your W2(s) to submit with your application.

There is a $45 application fee and the deadline to apply for tuition aid is February 1, 2026. If you are applying for aid at multiple schools through FACTS you only need to complete one application, you are able to list multiple schools in the application. FACTS Customer Service (866) 441-4637.

The FACTS Grant & Aid application opened on November 1st. All families that plan to receive financial assistance for the 2026-2027 school year must complete the application by no later than February 1st, 2026. This application needs to be completed for Gross Catholic each year.

We encourage you to complete the application at your earliest convenience as we have moved up our financial aid review and awarding timeline. There is no need to wait on your 2025 tax return as we can use your 2024 return. If you anticipate a significant change from 2024 to 2025, please provide details in the notes section on the application. You can go back later and add the 2025 return if necessary.

We understand that Catholic education is a sacrifice and we thank you for entrusting us with your children. Your timely completion of the Grant & Aid application will allow the Tuition Assistance Committee to award financial aid by early spring. This will in turn help your family with planning for the 2026-2027 school year.

Course Request Info Doc 2025-2026

Recommendation Sheet 2025-2026

Parents of 9th and 10th grade students

This week, I went into freshmen and sophomore English classes to talk through all the details about course registration for next year. I reviewed graduation requirements, classes they will need to take next year, and academy options. Each student was given a list of classes to use as a guide. The list outlines all the classes that they are allowed to register for next year. Each student highlighted the requirements they have to meet next year and looked through the options for electives. Also, if a student was interested in starting an academy, they were given an interest form that has more details.

I shared the slideshow with all of them so they could revisit it if necessary. Each student was encouraged to continue looking through the class options and to create a plan before course registration. Current sophomores will register for their junior classes on February 17th, and current freshmen will register for their sophomore classes on February 19th. This registration process will happen at school during their Theology class. More details will come as registration approaches. Please reach out to me if you have any questions!
