Dear Gross Catholic Parents and Families-

We are thrilled to share the success of our Mission Day, which took place on October 9, 2024. It was truly a remarkable day of faith, service, and community for our students.

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to grow spiritually by listening to inspirational guest speakers who challenged them to deepen their faith and reflect on how they can live out the Gospel in their daily lives. Our small group sessions allowed students to engage in meaningful self-reflection, discussing how they can bring Christ's love into their families, friendships, and communities.

In addition to spiritual growth, our students embodied the spirit of service by giving back to the school and our surrounding neighborhoods. Students worked collaboratively to beautify our campus and community through hands-on projects (picking up trash, weeding gardens, and caring for the environment). It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and teamwork in action as they made a tangible difference.

Mission Day was a powerful reminder of the values we hold dear at Gross Catholic- faith, service, family. We are proud of how our students embraced these values and appreciative of the exemplary leadership and work of Mrs. Sweetmon, Campus Ministry Director, and our entire staff.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children's formation and supporting our mission to create servant leaders for our world.

DUX ESTO!

Head of School

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We look forward to hosting parent teacher conferences on Thursday, October 17th from 1:00-6:30pm. We plan for the format to be an "open house" style in which guests have the opportunity to stop by the school at any time during that window. Meetings with teachers shouldn't be longer than 5-10 minutes. If you need additional information, please schedule time with the teacher outside of the conference date.

If you need a Spanish speaking interpreter, Ana Vargas and Beatriz Arellanes will be available from 1:00-4:00pm. If you would like to guarantee their availability, please email me by October 15th with what time you will be coming and I would be happy to schedule your time accordingly.

Communication between home and school plays an important role towards providing an effective instructional environment for all students. Staff truly appreciate your willingness to play an active role in your child's education and we value any insight you can provide to help ensure their success at school.

With Blessings,

Hana Abbott

Principal
