Campus Ministry

Did You Know: Friday our students and faculty/staff have Reconciliation Service. Did you know that in addition to our bi-annual, all-school Reconciliation Services, your student has the opportunity for Confession before all-school Mass most Fridays of the school year? In fact, more than 10% of our students take advantage of this sacrament already this school year. God is so good!

Steubenville fundraiser: SEMESTER EXAM CARE PACKAGE

You can support GC students attending the Steubenville Catholic Conference* and surprise your favorite GC scholar at semester exam time!

Show your support for your student's academic perseverance by purchasing a SEMESTER EXAM CARE PACKAGE. Care packages will be delivered to students on December 8th.

Each care package will include student favorites like snacks, drinks, necessary exam supplies, stress-reducing items, and a certificate for a homemade chili and cinnamon roll lunch on Tuesday, December 16th.

To gift your student with this surprise care package, please return the attached form and $20 per care package (or two care packages for $35) to Gross Catholic by Friday, November 28 (the school office will be closed Nov 26-28). You may also pay through PayPal.

Last year Gross Catholic sent 56 pilgrims to this Catholic conference! To keep costs down so all students have the opportunity to attend, we fundraise approx. $5000. Thank you for your support for our students!

PSAT & PreACT Test Scores - Starting next week, freshmen and sophomores will be receiving their test scores from the PreACT. We will be having group meetings to go over how to interpret their results. They will get the opportunity to look through their test booklet to see what questions they got wrong. They will be instructed to bring these test scores home and to look them over with a parent. Please reach out to Ms. Van Haute if you have any questions!

Also, sophomores and juniors that opted to take the PSAT have received their test results. If they signed up with their phone number, they can view their test scores in the BigFuture School mobile app. I will be giving everyone a paper copy to take home, as well. Please check in with your child if they took the PSAT. You are welcome to reach out to Ms. Van Haute if you have any questions. kvanhaute@gcgmail.org
