Dear Cougar Family-

We need you and are calling on your kindness and generosity once more. It is our hope and prayer that you will contribute to our Annual Appeal for 2024. We encourage you to consider giving a gift from your heart to our Annual Appeal. Your support helps our amazing students and staff flourish.

Your generosity directly supports the educational opportunities of our students. The Annual Appeal helps to fund our academic programs, faith formation experiences, as well as extra-curricular activities. Your impact is felt both inside and outside the classroom.

Your contributions, support, and prayers have helped us to achieve our mission- Daniel J. Gross High School is a faith and family-based community committed to developing Christian leaders through educational excellence in the Marianist tradition.

Cougar family, you are profound difference makers! Thank you for the support you provided our school throughout the years. Gross Catholic is a high performing place of learning because of you and your incredible generosity and kindness. Gross Catholic is a place worth investing as our enrollment is on the rise. We hope we can count on your support once again.

I will leave you with the inspiring words of George Bernard Shaw’s Splendid Torch:

“ …I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle for me. It is a splendid torch which I have got to hold for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.”

Thank you for helping Gross Catholic’s torch burn as brightly as possible.

With Blessings-

Stephen P. Eubanks ‘84

FINANCIAL AID:

The 2025-2026 Grant & Aid application is open. If you plan to receive financial aid, you must complete this application. We are moving up our financial aid review and awarding timeline and we encourage you to complete the application at your earliest convenience. There is no need to wait on your 2024 tax return as we can use your 2023 return. If you anticipate a significant change from 2023 to 2024, please provide details in the notes section on the application. You can go back later and add the 2024 return if necessary.

Your timely completion of the Grant & Aid application will allow the Tuition Assistance Committee to award financial aid by early spring. This will in turn help your family with planning for the 2025-2026 school year.
