Dear Cougar Family-

We are excited to announce that Gross Catholic is embarking on a campaign to improve our school, and we need your support now more than ever. The “Our Legacy, Their Tomorrow” campaign is a bold investment in the future of Gross Catholic High School.

As we look ahead, we must strengthen the foundation that supports our students every day. This campaign focuses on improving our campus infrastructure — including the retaining wall, fire panel, chiller, and parking lot — strengthening our financial health by eliminating debt, and enhancing our classrooms with updated furniture, fresh paint, and improved lighting.

We are grateful to share that during the silent phase of the campaign, we have already secured $2 million in commitments toward our $4 million goal. This remarkable momentum reflects the deep belief in our mission and our students.

Now, we need the partnership, love, care, and support of our stakeholders more than ever. Your gifts of time, talent, and treasure will help us secure a strong, stable, and vibrant future for generations to come. Please look for information detailing our campaign on our website and in the mail. I urge you to join us in this noble venture. The students and staff of Gross Catholic are worthy of investment. With your help, I am confident that we can reach our goal.

With Blessings-

Stephen P. Eubanks

President

Counselor's Corner

We are looking for a little help!

Parents, we are looking for donations for prizes for the student council bowling night on Sunday, March 29th. We are happy to take cash donations or $10 gift cards. (Cash donations will be used to purchase $10 gift cards)

If you would like to help, you can send donations to school to be given to Mrs. McNamara. Thank you for your generosity!

We did this same thing last year and the kids had a great time. They loved winning the gift cards!

If you are not able to donate, that's ok! We are grateful you share your awesome kids with us at Gross Catholic!

If you have questions please contact Mrs. McNamara at jmcnamara@gcgmail.org

Campus Ministry

Did you know that you are always welcome to join us for Mass?

We have all-school Mass at 10:35 AM on most Fridays when we are in school. Check the weekly calendar and join us!

Friday, March 27 is our all-school Mission Day.

This is a day of reflection, prayer, and community. This year we are bringing in a special speaker, and we would love to have you join us! Scott from Guadalupe Missions (https://guadalupemissions.org/) will share with us the love of Christ through the gift of His mother Mary. We will discover how St. Juan Diego's "yes" to the will of Lord changed the Americas and the world. Scott will give the same talk two times: 8-9:30 AM and 9:35-11:05 AM. We will also have Reconciliation from 11:15-12:45.

Field Day is Wednesday, April 1

As we celebrate another year of growing as a Cougar family, we welcome the Class of 1976, celebrate the sacrifice of the Mass, and compete in the final games of year as the Cougar Cup is awarded at the conclusion of the day. Stay tuned for information about a special catered lunch. In the meantime, please help your students locate their House tee-shirts. If they need a new shirt, they can purchase one for $15 in Campus Ministry.

Heart Ministry & FRESH Floral

Heart Ministry provides food, healthcare, and a way forward to people severely affected by poverty in the Omaha area. This program is near and dear to our hearts. In fact, twice a month throughout the school year, our Seniors serve at the pantry. In addition to the pantry resources, FRESH Floral is a community-minded social enterprise of the Heart Ministry Center. This means that every purchase at Fresh Floral supports the mission of this nonprofit organization in North Omaha, which aims to provide food, healthcare, and a way forward to individuals severely affected by poverty in the Omaha area.

You can assist this important work by purchasing your student's Prom flowers from FRESH Floral.
