4 Houses - 1 Home
All-school theme: Year 4 – Called and Courageous – St. Peter (Willett)
Over the course of 4 years, Campus Ministry’s goal is to lead students and faculty through an intense and practical study of each of the school’s House patron saints. This year’s theme is Called and Courageous, inspired by St. Peter (Willett House patron saint). As a school, we will focus on St. Peter’s call and his effectiveness as a servant leader as evident through his charismatic style, his vulnerability, his continued growth in faith, and his ability to work as a team in growing the early Church. In addition, we
will examine the gifts of the Holy Spirit which emboldened St. Peter, and which continue to set us aflame today. Monthly lessons will be designed to discover the beauty of a virtuous life, to provide time for self-reflection on
our faith journey, and to empower our students to confront their fears and step into servant leadership.
Below are the themes for years 1-3:
Year 1 - Defending the Defenseless (Creating a culture of life) – St. Michael the Archangel (Middleton)
Year 2 - Blessed are the Peacemakers (Conflict resolution and reconciliation) – St. Francis of Assisi (Barrett)
Year 3 – Unity, Fidelity, and Respect: Familia Supra Omnia (Domestic church and Laudato Si’: On Care
for Our Common Home) – St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta (McMenamy).
