Office Notes

9th-11th graders need to store their school laptop properly in its case and in a locked locker or protected backpack, especially during practices and games. Damages caused by improper storage are defined as user negligence and may result in repair costs not being covered by the 4-yr. warranty plan.

Campus Ministry

Rooted & Flourish

Starting this TUESDAY, we will offer weekly faith sharing groups for both our young men and our young women. Rooted and Flourish are open to anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and growing in friendship with others who love the Lord :)

Rooted is the young men's group. This group meets with Frs. Boyd and Moser to discuss how to be a Christian man in a secular world. They meet in Campus Ministry.

Flourish is the young women's group. This group will meet with Mrs. Sweetmon and various guest speakers to discuss how to flourish in our faith, family, friendships, and femininity. The ladies meet in Mrs. Matzen's room.

Occasionally the two groups will meet together. The image of wildflowers growing alongside a rooted tree represents our understanding of the ways men and women compliment each other and benefit from growing with each other.

Attention all sophomore, junior, and senior parents:

If your student is interested in attending the March for Life Pilgrimage to Washington, DC this January, please ask them to fill out this form.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness on this very important topic. We use this month to spread hope and vital information. Our goal is ensuring that individuals, friends and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help if needed. Throughout the month, students will see inspirational quotes, participate in activities, and know there is always someone they can talk to at Gross Catholic High School.
