Parent Survey Request:

An essential part of Gross Catholic's annual reflections and preparations are the results of the Fall and Spring surveys. Using student, family, community, and faculty/staff survey results, the GC leadership team evaluates program successes and necessary modifications for future years.

Your voice is important! Please complete this survey. Upon completion of the survey, you will be directed to a page which includes a casual clothes day pass for your student(s).

9th/10th Testing Day and 11th/12th College and Career Day

Mark your Calendar!

October 16 is a Special Day - Freshmen and Sophomores will be taking the Pre-ACT. Juniors and Seniors will participate in a College and Career Day. The college and career day will include a presentation from EducationQuest for juniors, and a panel discussion with recent Gross graduates for seniors, a college fair, and an opportunity to hear from multiple different professionals in our community. All students need to attend and will be dismissed at 12:00 on this day.

Gross is partnering with Strivescan for the college fair on October 16th. Juniors and seniors will register for Strivescan via their personal phone and a barcode will be texted and emailed to them immediately. Colleges use the StriveScan app to scan the barcode from a student's phone to access the information students would normally write on an information card at a college fair (name, email, phone number, address). Students can choose which college reps scan their barcode. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the use of Strivescan, please contact Julie McNamara at jmcnamara@gcgmail.org

ACT Enhancements and Changes - Review HERE

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness on this very important topic. We use this month to spread hope and vital information. Our goal is ensuring that individuals, friends and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help if needed. Throughout the month, students will see inspirational quotes, participate in activities, and know there is always someone they can talk to at Gross Catholic High School.
