Greetings Gross Catholic Community-

As we move into this holiday season, let us all reflect on and be thankful for the abundant blessings in our lives. I am so grateful for not only my immediate family but also for my Cougar family as well.

Saint John Paul II once said, "Remember the past with gratitude, live the present with generosity, and look forward to the future with confidence." I truly believe Saint John Paul II captures the essence of Thanksgiving and the true essence of Gross Catholic.

May we thank the Lord for the gift of gratitude in our hearts and for the many blessings we have received. May we spend quality time with loved ones, share our blessings with generosity, especially with those who are in most need, and may we confidently bond together to prepare our lives and school for the future.

I encourage each of you to reflect on the positive contributions we can all make to our family, parish, students, school, and community. I want to thank you for your generosity and the love and support you have shown Gross Catholic over the years. You are profound difference makers!

As you gather with family and friends, may it be a time of joy, great celebration, and a time to be with each other in the spirit of thanksgiving. DUX ESTO!

With Blessings-

Stephen P. Eubanks

Giving Tuesday is December 2nd

One of our goals in the 2025 Strategic Plan is to continue beautifying our school campus. Alumna and artist Julie Schram, ’74, has volunteered her time and talent to create a stunning stained-glass piece that will be incorporated into the windows of the Media Center. This artwork will feature vibrant colors with fine craftsmanship and will be visible both inside the Media Center and from the main entrance as you drive onto campus.

While Ms. Schram is graciously donating her time and artistry, we are seeking support to cover the cost of materials. Please consider making a contribution this Giving Tuesday for this project as we continue to reflect the beauty, spirit, and generosity that define Gross Catholic.

The artwork will celebrate our House System, a cherished tradition at Gross Catholic that strengthens the family spirit at the heart of who we are as Cougars.

The Houses are named in honor of four Marianists who served at Gross Catholic:

• Barrett House – Brother Joe Barrett

• McMenamy House – Father Al McMenamy

• Middleton House – Brother Rich Middleton

• Willett House – Brother Leo Willett

Marianist Moments: Celebrating Advent

The Holy Family, is a beautiful example of family life. We look to them as a model for our own families, for they also shared struggles, joy, sorrow and the hustle and bustle of daily living. Too often we get caught up in the distractions of our daily lives and the sacred season of Advent is overlooked.

Gross Catholic's Marianist Mission Integration Team invites you and your family to take a little time during the weeks of Advent to encounter the wonder and awe of the anticipation of the coming of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ!

We hope you enjoy browsing through this site and are inspired to spend time together as a family finding ways to welcome the Holy Family into your home.
