EPHS Boys Swimming team turned in a great performance at the Class AA State meet. Senior Soren Dunn won two state titles in the 50m and 100m freestyle. Senior Alex Deng finished second in both the 100m butterfly and the 100m breaststroke. The team itself placed in the top five at the tournament.

The EPHS Boys Hockey team is on the way to State in the Class AA Boys State Hockey tournament and face off against Lakeville South on Thursday, March 5 at the Xcel Energy Center.

Senior Bryce Dagel placed 4th at the Class AAA State Wrestling meet.

Boys basketball player EPHS senior Austin Andrews achieved a major milestone by s coring 2,000 career points.

EPHS Girls Basketball team advances to the Section 2-AAAA championship game Friday March 6.

Eden Prairie High School has been named by Varsity Brands as a finalist in their Spirit of Sportsmanship awards.

EPHS junior Luke Mittelstadt was named to the Star Tribune all-metro first team, senior Ben Steeves was named to the all-metro second team and senior John Mittelstadt was named to the all-metro third team.

The EPHS Winterguard won first place at the Winter Guard International (WGI) Chicago Regional on March 1 in Scholastic Open with a score of 84.3, the highest ever for an EP team! The Winterguard is also currently in first place in standings nationally in their class among 44 teams.

EPHS senior Sydney Lewis has been honored by the National WWII Museum in New Orleans as a 2020 Billy Michal Student Leadership Award recipient.

Alumni Accolades

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) senior Carolyn Jons, EPHS Class of 2016, was featured in the Minnesota Academy of Science Alumni Spotlight. She is a seven-time science fair participant and explains how it "ignited her passion for discovery."

Community Conversations Around School Start/End Times

Eden Prairie Schools invites parents/guardians, students and staff to participate in a facilitated conversation around start and end times across our district. The second meeting will be held Thursday March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Eden Prairie Community Center, 16700 Valley View Road. University of Minnesota's Dr. Kyla Wahlstrom, sleep expert, will give a brief presentation . Please RSVP for planning purposes.
