Eagle Excellence
Team Zero Gravity advanced to 2020 MN FIRST LEGO League State tournament after passing Regional and Sectional tournaments. They won the Robot Design Award at Regionals and the Innovation Project Award at Sections. The team comprises of Prairie View 5th graders Sankalp Agrawal , Aarnashri Jadhav , Aishah Alam , and Eden Lake 5th graders Anish Peri and Atharva Sarmah .

Junior Akshitha Ginuga competed in the National Speech and Debate Association Southern District National Qualifying Tournament over the weekend and won. Akshitha will go on to compete in the NSDA National Tournament in New Mexico. During the same weekend, several members of the EPHS Speech Team earned individual speech awards at the Eagle Invitational at EPHS.

Seventy-eight EPHS DECA students earned a trip to the state DECA competition.

Thank a Coach/Advisor Week

Governor Tim Walz has proclaimed Jan. 27-31, 2020 Paraprofessional Recognition Week. "Paraprofessionals are a vital and valued part of Eden Prairie Schools. Five EP Schools Teachers Nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year
Eden Prairie Schools teachers Pam Brownell , CMS English/Language Arts, Corey Christopherson , CMS Physical Education, Cindy Dooley , CMS Math, Kari Moore , CMS Math and Maria Villavicencio , Eden Lake, 1st Grade, have been nominated for Minnesota Teacher of the Year . Congratulations!
Community Conversation Around School Start/End Times Feb. 6
Eden Prairie Schools invites parents/guardians, students and staff to participate in a facilitated conversation around school start and end times across our district. The Feb. 6 meeting from 6-8 p.m. is at Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Rd., in the Heritage Rooms. Information will be presented by  Dr. Conrad Iber   of the University of Minnesota. Your  RSVP  is requested for planning purposes.
