Important: Understand Safety Procedures for Our Students
Please watch the video below on safety procedures that will be followed at all Eden Prairie Schools. Your school or program will provide details on any additional or specific procedures required at their site.
First Week Schedule for Back to School
As we announced this week, the school year will start Sept. 2. Your schools will be communicating details ahead of Wednesday. Click here for a printable outline for Sept. 2 - 4, 2020.
Technology Pickup for New Families
Technology devices for new Eden Prairie students are currently being configured and are ready for pick up. Students in grades K - 8 will be given an iPad and students in grades 9 - 12 will be given a laptop. Please see below for pick up information specific to your student's grade.

Grades 2-8 and K-1 EP Online Students
The final day for iPad pickup at our District Welcome Center is Friday, August 28 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Welcome Center is located in our Administrative Service Center at 8100 School Road, Eden Prairie, 55344. Please contact our Technology Helpline with questions: 952-975-7094.

*Note: New Kindergarten and 1st grade students attending on-site classes will receive their iPads on the first day of school.

Grades 9-12
Please contact our Technology Helpline at 952-975-7094 to schedule an appointment to pick up your laptop at the Eden Prairie High School Media Center. The laptop setup is slightly more involved than the iPad, so the appointments ensure enough time is set aside (approximately 20 - 30 minutes).

The Media Center is located on the second floor near the Main/South Commons. If you enter through the North door, the Media Center will be straight ahead then on the left side.
Technology Information Sessions for All Families
Eden Prairie Schools will be hosting virtual Family Technology Support Sessions during the first and second weeks of school. Please join us as we go over where to find tech support, how to setup and link a parent account in Schoology, device-specific troubleshooting, and other grade-specific technologies.

All sessions will be hosted in Zoom and will be available as recordings the following day.

Annual Directory Information Notice
Eden Prairie Schools keeps data about students, known as directory information, that can be shared with the public and military recruiters. Directory information is information that you might find in a school directory or in an activity/athletic program. Families in Eden Prairie Schools have a choice to restrict some or all of this data. Please follow this form for more information. You can also use this form if you wish to have a report card mailed to your residential address.
Transportation for All K-1 Students and 2- 12 Hybrid Learning Students
Parents will receive an email from our transportation department before the end of the day with final bus schedule information. Please call the Transportation department at 952 975-7500 if you do not receive the email or have questions.
Meal Service Changes for Hybrid and EP Online Families

Cafeteria Service
When students go through cafeteria lines, food choices will be placed on their tray by food service staff. Soup and salad bars have been discontinued until self-service is allowed again. Megabites have also been discontinued for now.

We have enabled touchless point-of-sale system using student PINs that have been converted to barcodes. For grades K-8, the cashier will scan barcodes from a class sheet. For EPHS students, the barcode will be on the back of the student ID.

Floor stickers have been placed in the cafeteria to remind students to practice social distancing while in line.

Distance Days/EP Online Families
Meals are available (optional) on days when students are in distance learning in the hybrid model or if they are enrolled in EP Online. For hybrid students, meals will be available for pickup on the second day of in-person learning. Meals for EP Online students can be picked up at EPHS, East Deli, between noon and 1 p.m. on Fridays beginning September 4. Meals will be charged to the student's food service account. There is no cost to families who qualify for free or reduced-price meal benefits. Meals are only available in weekly packages.

Families will need to submit an order form every week for the next week's meals; form submission will be open Mondays through Thursdays. For additional information and links to order forms, go to edenpr.org/child-nutrition.
