School Board Appoints Lauren Crandall To Fill Vacant Seat
In a unanimous vote, the school board appointed Lauren Crandall to fill the vacant seat on the board. (Former board member John Kohner resigned earlier this year.) According to state law, a 30-day window is required following the appointment prior to taking an official oath of office. The 30-day appointment allows for community feedback and input.
Crandall ran for one of the three open seats for school board this fall. She was next in line with the most vote totals after Terri Swartout, Elaine Larabee and Holly Link. Crandall is a current parent of a fifth grader at Eden Lake Elementary School.
