  • CMS robotics teams Ground Zero and Icebreakers attended the First Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament on January 13 and placed third and fourth respectively in the elimination rounds. Icebreakers also won the Control Award which goes to the team with the best control design and programming for the tournament.

  • EPHS’ wrestling team placed second at the Storhaug Invitational in North Dakota. Placing individually in their respective weight classes were senior Jahsa Rankins (1st place), senior Isaiah Thompson (1st place), sophomore Bryce Dagel (1st place), senior Azi Rankins (2nd place), eighth grader Jacory Bates (3rd place), freshman Jax Surprise (4th place), senior Xander Falkenstein (4th place), 7th grader Will DiAna (8th place), junior Sam Fuchs (8th place), senior Michael Hahn (8th place); junior Brennan Hirtz (8th place), and 7th grader Will Sather (8th place).
Eden Prairie Schools Featured at MSBA Conference
Eden Prairie Schools' community engagement program was featured at the Minnesota School Boards Association’s annual Leadership Conference on Thursday, Jan. 17. The district was part of the conference’s School Excellence Showcase , which highlights some of the state’s most unique and outstanding programs in education.
Seven EP Teachers Selected as Teacher of the Year Candidates
Seven Eden Prairie Schools’ teachers were selected as candidates for the 2019 Minnesota Teacher of the Year . The program organized and underwritten by Education Minnesota, chooses one teacher to represent Minnesota's thousands of excellent educators. This year, 168 educators across the state are candidates for Minnesota Teacher of the Year.
