A Few Spots Still Open to Tour CMS
Eden Prairie Schools May 14 referendum will have an impact on all schools – with improved security and more flexible learning spaces. But Central Middle School (CMS) will see even more changes, including a new performing arts center, a new classroom addition to help accommodate students and an expanded cafeteria. Two half-hour tours are available so you can see the current spaces and the challenges they pose – and view preliminary drawings of the proposed renovations.

  • Tuesday, May 7, 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 11, 10 a.m.

To sign up for a tour, email [email protected].

Early voting is available before and after both tours across the parking at the Administrative Services Center.
In Eden Prairie Schools, we inspire each student every day. The May 14 referendum request would support that commitment. Learn more at www.EPVote2019.org .
Here’s a question we’ve heard recently:  Will 6th grade ever move to the middle school like our neighboring districts?

Answer:  The  one-question bond referendum  request is based on  three years of planning , public input and research to improve the middle school learning experience by moving 6th graders from the elementary schools to a more age-appropriate environment at the middle school tailored to their academic needs.
