  • EPHS Boys Hockey Coach and Cedar Ridge teacher Lee Smith celebrated his 500th career win on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020.

  • Prairie View 5th grader Sravika Vadrevu on Eden Prairie's Community Education Team Curiosity has advanced to the 2020 MN FIRST LEGO League State tournament after passing the Sectional Tournament on Jan. 19, 2020. The team received the Robot Programming Award, Robot Performance Award, and Head to Head Award.
  • Randy Shaver from KARE 11 announced the All Decade All Metro Football Team featuring EP alumni J.D. Spielman ‘16, Carter Coughlin, ‘16, Antonio Montero ‘18, and Blake Cashman ‘15.

  • Kyle Bratrud, 2011 Eden Prairie High School graduate, won a National Championship in the 15K Freestyle at the 2020 U.S. National Cross Country Skiing Championships in Houghton, Michigan, on Jan. 3.

Community conversation around school start/end times Feb. 6
Eden Prairie Schools invites parents/guardians, students and staff to participate in a facilitated conversation around start and end times across our district. The Feb. 6 meeting from 6-8 p.m. is at Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Rd., in the Heritage Rooms. Your  RSVP  is requested for planning purposes. 

Following a presentation, attendees will participate in a  world café  format discussion.

Registration Deadlines for Kindergarten and Gifted/Talented Programs

Events for Next Year’s 2020-21 Kindergarten, 7 th  Grade and HS Students

  • Parents/guardians of next year’s 7th grade class are invited to the 6th Grade Parent Orientation at Central Middle School Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 5-8 p.m. For information on specific sessions relevant to your student, check the CMS calendar.

  • Kindergarten registration events are being held at Oak Point on Jan. 23 and Prairie View on Jan. 28, both starting at 6 p.m.

Early Childhood 2020-21 catalogs are now available! You can find the current catalog , or stop by Welcome Center at 8100 School Road for a printed copy. Registration for Early Childhood Family Education and Little Eagles Preschool opens Tuesday, Jan. 28.

Join us at the Winter Warm-up event Sunday Feb. 1, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for FREE family fun including book fair, activities and crafts, motor room movement, puppet Show from Shiffley Puppets, face painting, beach theme photo stop and MORE! Geared toward preschool age children, this is the perfect time to learn about Early Childhood Family Education and Little Eagles Preschool options.
