Post-secondary academic achievements of EPHS alumni were reported this week in the Eden Prairie News. Drake Dobbs, EPHS senior, was nominated for Mr. Basketball Minnesota. Performance by EPHS seniors Austin Andrews, Connor Christensen, Drake Dobbs and John Henry led Eden Prairie to become the first-ever Minnesota boys basketball team to count four 1,000-point scorers from the same class. EPHS 10th grader Jose (Tony) Salgado-Chami was one of 89 students selected from 260 who auditioned for membership in the Minnesota Band Directors Association (MBDA) 9-10 Grade State Honor Band for the 2019-20 school year. Tony is a member of the Eden Prairie High School Concert Band, Marching Band, Brass Choir, and Trumpet Choir.

Eden Prairie News recently showcased EPHS' Eagle Voice, the crowd-sourced system to collect student feedback and ideas, on the front page of the most recent print and e-editions. Read about Eden Prairie alumnus Nibir Sarma, a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, who will compete in the collegiate version of Jeopardy!, the quiz-based game show. Eden Prairie News covered Signing Day at EPHS, a ceremony held on the first day a high school senior can sign a binding National Letter of Intent with an NCAA member school. Eden Prairie Schools leadership was quoted in a recent article about measures underway to address vaping at EHPS.

KinderCamp Registration Open KinderCamp 2020 is a free opportunity for students entering kindergarten this fall to build confidence about the start of the school year.  Registration  is now open for the August sessions at all Eden Prairie elementary schools. Start/End Times Study Task Force Applications Open Eden Prairie Schools has begun a months-long process to solicit input on school start/end times. As part of our decision-making process we are convening task force of up to 25 members. If you are interested in applying to participate, please review the charge statement and complete the application . District administrators will review applications and send out invitations no later than March 6. Selection of task force members will follow the Superintendent’s charge that the group is representative of the Eden Prairie Schools community. The application closes at 4:30 p.m., Feb. 21.
