Lutheran Family Service - Support Groups

Families caring for a child diagnosed with Autism or ADHD often carry both deep love and deep challenges. LFS is here to walk with you.

They are establishing two online support groups designed to strengthen, educate, and encourage caregivers — all through an LCMS theological lens. These groups will meet online at Noon throughout the year. The day of the week and the start date will be determined by the preferences and demographics of the participants.

You can sign up for the Autism & ADHD Support Groups here.

Children's Sunday School Bulletins & Activities

As we work on our plans to refresh our Kingdom Kids Children's Ministry programming, our BOCE has taken a step back to assess our current offerings. Even in the midst of this time of transition, we want to make sure that you still have access to kid-friendly content that points your littlest ones to Christ!

Check out these fun activity pages from our children's bulletin for this weekend.

*BethAnn will also be adding these to our weekly newsletter emails, so you will be able to find them there every Friday.

And, be on the lookout for more information about the changes that will be coming soon to our Kingdom Kids program!

Practical Apologetics Resource

So many kids (and adults) struggle with how to defend their faith inside a modern, mainstream world that is generally hostile to Christianity and its convictions.

Greg Koukl started the "Stand to Reason" organization to help with that very thing. His book Tactics gives practical guidance on how to best approach tricky discussions about faith with people who do not share our worldview.

You can also listen to his #STRask and Stand to Reason podcasts anywhere you listen to podcasts.

The Lutheran Study Bible App

Concordia Publishing House came out with this app for an interactive study Bible in the ESV. Do you enjoy the Bible App? If so, this will be a great tool for diving deeper, with access to Lutheran study notes as well as other helpful features. Available on the App Store or Google Play.

Lutheran Catechism App

For those of you who have kiddos joining our Confirmation age-group soon (or just for those who'd like a handy review), this app is for you!  An interactive version of Luther's Small Catechism is an easy way to keep answers to our faith's tough questions on hand. Available for Apple and Android.

Dwell: The Audio Bible App

Reading not really your thing? (Me either.) As a primarily auditory learner, I much prefer to learn by listening. If you like to learn, but prefer to multitask, that might mean that sitting down to read physical books can sometimes prove to be a bit challenging. That's why I personally enjoy Dwell.

The Dwell Bible App provides a way to listen to God's Word wherever you are, no matter what you're doing. With cool features like listening plans, options for narration, topical verse playlists, and customizable background music, Dwell allows for an immersive experience that makes spending time in God's Word easier than ever!

Check it out on the Apple App Store or Google Play and try it out with their 7-day free trial!
