COVID UPDATE
We seem to have Covid in the forefront again, so please know we will offer flexibility if your student has an illness. We appreciate everyone's great communication in notifying us of absences and using our make-up request sheet for rescheduling. Please keep your student home with any symptoms of illness, and we will offer some flexibility for the month of January with our make-up policy for a communicated illness.
Please remember we can also shift to online services at any time for short or long-term duration if you are more comfortable with that delivery or enjoy the convenience.
One final point - our instructors get sick too. We look at all options to avoid appointment cancellations, but on some occasions, we have no option but to reschedule your student. We will happily work out another session in those situations and appreciate your understanding.

Multiple independent studies conducted by Watson Education since 2004 have proven that Mathnasium improves student performance on standards-based tests. Children who consistently attend our learning centers enjoy a transformative learning experience and make tremendous strides in comprehension, confidence, and grades. That said, your help as a parent can accelerate your child's growth even more!
Parent involvement in education is crucial. Students with involved parents are more likely to have higher grades and test scores, attend school regularly, have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school.

Make-up Session - If your student missed an appointment. You can request a make-up session.

Student Review Consultation - Request a student consultation to review your student's progress.
Teacher Communication - It is our goal to form a partnership with the school, parents, and our center. Reaching out to your Mathlete's teacher is a key step in formalizing that communication, but it requires your written permission.
STAAR Preparation - We are offering STAAR opt-in prep again this year. Our approach is to work gradually over several months for our 3rd through Algebra I students. Purchasing our practice book is required for your student to participate in STAAR prep, but you can opt-in or out of this preparation.

January's Kahoot! Challenge |

As you recall, our centers have partnered with Kahoot! to create some amazingly fun ways to learn math - and we invite your child to participate in our January Kahoot! Challenge. It takes only about 5-10 minutes to complete.

Yes, we're looking for instructors at all three of our centers. This position is available to anyone ages 16 yrs and older. You just need to love math and want to make that difference!
