Pacer Ready, Set, Return!
In this video Brian Enter, our senior university facilities executive, shares some of the steps we’ve taken on campus which will help prevent the spread of germs on campus.

This is the first in a four-part COVID-19-related educational video series. In the coming weeks, look for the additional videos and resources, which are part of our campus-wide Pacer Ready, Set, Return effort.
The U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams shows us how to make a no-sew face mask.

The university will require everyone to wear face masks in classrooms and spaces where physical distancing is impossible, so please make sure your student brings ample face masks to school.

Help your student prepare to return to campus by reviewing steps taken, plans made, and expectations of the entire campus community which are outlined on our Pacer Ready, Set, Return webpage. COVID-19-related updates will be posted there .
Pacer Graduation Parade and Celebration
The UofSC Aiken held its Pacer Graduation Parade and Celebration complete with decorated vehicles, music, and fun! Most importantly, graduates heard their names read aloud from the comfort of their vehicles as they approached the podium. Each graduate received their diploma cover from Dr. Sandra Jordan, chancellor.

Family and friends were able to cheer as students drove through the campus parade route.

Check out all the fun here.

Congratulations, Class of 2020 and families!
Tips for First-Year Students

  • Neglect finding your class locations
  • Hibernate in your room
  • Procrastinate
  • Study for 20 minutes and expect to know the material
