Head of School Announcement | |
Earlier this week, we announced that Amy L. Clemons has been named Forman’s next Head of School. Amy will begin her tenure on July 1st, 2024, following the retirement of Adam K. Man P’15.
Amy brings with her a considerable amount of independent school leadership. She is currently the Head of School at Woodlynde School, an independent day school in Strafford, PA, serving students in grades K-12 with learning differences.
"The concept of educating the whole person, forming minds and hearts, has driven my commitment to education over the past 24 years. It will be an honor to serve the Forman community,” Amy said in her acceptance.

Jonas Petrokansky ’24, Varsity Football
Jonas played a pivotal role in the Varsity Football team’s comeback win over Harvey School during Fall Family Weekend. Jonas and the Lions’ offense took the field with 13 seconds remaining, needing to drive 60 yards to win the game. He secured his first catch of the drive with a spectacular sideline play and sealed the win with a Hail Mary touchdown reception as the time ran out on the game. Jonas finished the game with a career-high seven receptions for 105 yards and two TDs.

Sammy Sperber ’27, Outdoor Adventure
In addition to being an amazing team player, Sammy has spent the majority of his time during practice on the rock wall, working diligently to beat a personal record. He began the fall making it up the rock wall in 1 minute 11 seconds. He then decreased his time to 58 seconds, then 30 seconds, and now 21 seconds! As coaches, we are so proud of Sammy for his dedication to his personal goals and the team!

Gabby Suarez ’24, Girls’ JV Volleyball Gabby has had an incredible start to the season so far, but her serves have really stood out. Over the course of the first six games of the season, Gabby scored well over 30 service aces with under ten service errors, which is quite a feat. This includes a 10-0 service ace run in a win against Rumsey. Even when the other team tries to ice her out with a timeout, nothing can stop her fire.
